The Guidelines review current practice in 2D modelling, including areas where current practice is not supported by theoretical and empirical research, and provide guidance on appropriate development and usage of 2D hydrodynamic models for floodplain applications. The guidelines have been prepared for the National Committee on Water Engineering as one of the Australian Rainfall and Runoff Revision Projects.
